Aster DM Healthcare Limited and Blackstone-backed Quality Care have signed a merger agreement to create a new listed entity, Aster DM Quality Care Limited.

The merged entity will operate under four brands namely Aster DM, CARE Hospitals, KIMSHEALTH and Evercare. It will have a network of 38 hospitals and over 10,150 beds across 27 cities in India.

The merger has been approved by the boards of directors of both companies and is subject to regulatory, corporate and shareholder approval.
