Bangkok – The alliance party in the Pheu Thai-led government vetoed a bill introduced by senior ruling party lawmakers Prayuth Siripanic Designed to prevent future military coups.

“The Thai Unionist Party agrees with the idea of bringing transparency to the military, but this must not affect security matters, especially allowing political interference in the military,” UTN spokesman Akala de Umpitacroy said Tuesday.
